Currency and inventory decisions

Anime Expeditions Items and Materials Guide

Every resource should answer one question: which account bottleneck does it remove? Separate summon currency, leveling items, rerolls, locks, equipment materials, evolution ingredients, and mode currencies before spending so one short-term upgrade does not block a permanent one.

Verification Status: Mixed. Gems, Trait Crystals, Stat and Equipment reroll items, locks, evolution materials, and event resources appear across current code rewards and gameplay coverage. Exact item lists, quantities, recipes, shops, drop locations, rates, and caps require the current client.

Anime Expeditions items and materials FAQ

What materials should a beginner save?

Save Trait Crystals, Stat Locks, Equipment Locks, rare evolution items, Sprites tied to an unfinished recipe, and limited event currency until the account has a durable target and a visible use.

What should I farm first?

Farm the resource blocking the next concrete objective. Early accounts usually benefit more from a stable Story carry and usable equipment than from perfect trait, stat, or equipment rolls.

What are Sprites used for?

Sprites are reported as evolution and crafting materials. Exact colors, conversions, quantities, and recipes must be checked at the current Crafting and Evolution interfaces before spending.

When should I use a Stat or Equipment Lock?

Use a lock only when the existing roll is compatible, difficult to replace, and attached to a unit or item that will remain useful. A lock preserves value; it does not guarantee the next reroll is good.

Should I spend event currency immediately?

First inspect the event end time, shop stock, purchase limits, reset rules, and whether the currency has another use. Prioritize permanent account value before cosmetics when progression is the goal.

Where does each item drop?

Use the current reward preview, shop card, quest, map, Expedition, or Raid panel. This guide groups resources by purpose and does not promise an undated drop table or fixed rate.

Items and materials: the short answer

Identify the resource, open the system that consumes it, and verify the current cost before farming. Protect rerolls, locks, Sprites, evolution items, and limited currencies until a real unit, equipment piece, recipe, or shop purchase has been chosen.

Sort inventory by purpose

Use five buckets: roster access, unit development, reroll optimization, crafting and evolution, and mode or event spending. This prevents Gems from being confused with in-stage Yen, locks from being treated as rerolls, or a unit-specific material from being consumed as generic inventory.

Recommended spending order

Build access and basic power before optimization. A practical order is usable roster, levels and ordinary upgrades, useful empty equipment slots, verified evolution, then traits, stat potential, and equipment rerolls. Change the order only when the next stage proves another system is the bottleneck.

  • Roster gap: Gems or eligible summon tickets.
  • Owned carry is weak: levels and ordinary upgrades.
  • Empty or mismatched gear: usable equipment before perfect rolls.
  • Verified form upgrade: exact evolution recipe and materials.
  • Stable long-term unit: trait, stat, and equipment optimization.

Rerolls and locks are different resources

A reroll replaces an outcome; a lock preserves an existing one under the rules shown by the current interface. Do not lock a high number that targets the wrong role or damage type. Set an acceptable result and maximum budget before starting a reroll session.

Sprites and evolution materials

Current guides consistently describe Sprites, crafting inputs, and unit-linked materials as evolution resources. The safe rule is recipe first, farming second. Confirm the base unit, resulting form, material names, quantities, currency cost, and replacement warning before converting generic resources.

XP food and leveling materials

Concentrate experience on one carry used across Story and the next unlocked modes. Spreading food evenly across every new unit creates a wide but underpowered roster. Level support or control when its survival, range, or ability access creates a measurable team improvement.

Mode and event currencies

Match every token or coin to the exact shop and timer shown in the client. Check stock, purchase limits, reset time, and whether the currency expires. When progression is the goal, compare permanent unit, equipment, reroll, and evolution value before cosmetic rewards.

How to choose a farming source

Start from the required item rather than a popular map. Use the current reward preview to list eligible Story, Challenge, Expedition, Raid, quest, event, or shop sources; then compare successful rewards per full session, including queue, setup, and failure time.

Inventory audit before an update

Record limited currencies, unclaimed milestones, shop timers, duplicate items, and materials reserved for a verified recipe. Do not convert or spend everything merely because an update is approaching; the current event panel and developer-controlled announcements should decide time-sensitive actions.

Common material mistakes

Avoid rerolling a temporary unit, locking an incompatible result, feeding every duplicate, converting Sprites before checking recipes, farming from an undated drop table, and spending limited currency before comparing the full shop. Each mistake begins with spending before choosing the target.

What remains unverified

This page does not publish a supposedly complete inventory, exact drop rates, shop prices, daily caps, Sprite conversions, food XP values, reroll odds, lock costs, or evolution quantities without same-build evidence. Unknown values remain open rather than being filled from conflicting tables.
